Twinkle Khanna is a popular Bollywood actress during her time of popularity in 1990s. Even though she acted mainly in Hindi movies, she also acted in Telugu films also. After establishing herself as a leading actress in the industry she acted with many popular actors like Ajay Devgan, Saif Ali Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan, Sharukh Khan and Aamir Khan. Twinkle Khanna was born on 29th December 1974 in Pune. She is a daughter of famous actors, her father is late Rajesh Khanna and her mother is Dimple Kapadia. She has one sister by name Rinke Khanna. Her aunty name is Simple Kapadia. Her father is of Panjabi and her mother is of Gujrati. She married popular Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, this couple is blessed with two children, one son by name Aarav Kumar and one daughter by name Nitara Khanna Bhatia. She retired from Bollywood industry after her marriage with Akshay Kumar and started her career in Interior Design. Her father Rajesh Khanna expired on 18th July 2012. Profession

Twinkle Khanna made her Bollywood debut opposite to Bobby Deol in the movie Barsaat in 1995. The film considered as hit in the box office and Khanna received Best Debutant actress award in Filmfare for her performance. She had cross eye problem and she undergone eye surgery for this problem. Later she acted in many movies which got her audience recognition and success.

Her popular roles include girl next door character in the movie Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai opposite to Salman Khan, undercover spy opposite to Sharukh Khan in the movie Baadshah, village belle opposite to Aamir Khan in the movie Mela. She also acted in one Telugu movie opposite to Venkatesh in the movie Seenu. She also offered a 2nd lead role in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai but she refused that offer.

As she did not enjoy the profession of acting, she left this industry after her marriage. Khanna’s last movie was Love Ke Liye Kuchh Bhi Karega, which did well at the box office. She involved in Interior design. After leaving this industry she started her own interior design store called The White Window in Mumbai’s Crawford Market along with the partnership of his friend Gurlein Manchanda. This store got prestigious award of Elle Décor International Design Award and she has plans to expand this store throughput the India. She also produced some movies like Patiala House, Tees Maar Khan, Khatta Meetha, Thank You and Khiladi 786. She did interior design for Rani Mukherjee’s home in 2006.
